Mitchell's Parts Store
Mitchell’s approached me looking for an online parts store. They sold a large majority of their parts by phone and wanted to free up the bottleneck of individual salespeople. With over 10,000 products and 15 separate brands the site could have been overcomplicated. We started by having multiple calls to scope out exactly what the expectations for the project were, from user accounts to stock management to advanced searching.
The final solution employs the use of clear navigation in multiple areas as well as relying on an advanced search bar for part names and numbers. Finding the right brand or directly searching a part number could not be easier. Take a look at the final product here.
